Faust were in the building and came to our meeting
to make brief remarks.

- Stan Mahoney,
Stormwater Chairman, reported as folows:
- A study of
the run-off problem in D'Olive Bay has been sent to
David Yeager, formerly of the NEP, and engineering
firms are being asked for recommendations to correct
problems.

- The Stormwater
Working Group is going to reconvene to begin working
on structure and plans to implement Stormwater
legislation. When the plan is complete it will go
the County for a vote and Friends of Baldwin will
assist in promoting support for the plan.
- Doug Holton,
Chairman of the Zoning Committee, reported as
follows:
- Friends of
Baldwin wants to wholeheartedly support Georgia
Bankston and her committee in their efforts toward
the zoning referendum in District 18 (Foley).
Georgia thanked everyone who approached the Co.
Commissioners about foregoing the petition with 10%
of registered voters as this greatly facilitates the
move toward voting. The vote will be on Oct. 28 with
three Town Hall Meetings preceding. More to follow.

is also beginning the process towards a vote on
zoning.
- Dick
Sute,Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee
presenteed a thorough report on issues confronting
the Committee. See the attached pdf file. The
Steering Committee will meet to review the Committee
recommendations.
